Home Working

Working at O2 doesn’t just mean working in an office. So if you need to work from home. Or you simply work better there. You could apply for home working. Of course, not everyone will be able to do it. After all, we still need plenty of people in our offices, stores and contact centres.

But if your role doesn’t rely on you being in a certain location, we’ll do our best to get you set up. After all, with over 700 people working from home around the UK, it helps us reduce our carbon footprint. So we’ve made a huge investment in home workers. There’s even a forum, that focuses on all the things that are important to home workers.

It definitely takes a certain type of person to work from home. But if you’re dedicated, self-motivated and trustworthy, it could be right up your street.

Benefits
Some people prefer home working because there are fewer distractions than in the office. It’s a chance to enjoy some thinking time and maybe produce a higher standard of work. It can be good for your work/life balance too.
From time to time, all of our home workers still need to travel to attend meetings.
 
How it works
We’ll give you all the work tools you need. So you’re not just working on the kitchen table, but in a separate room, with a laptop, broadband, technical support, plus the right desk and chair. All assessed for your safety and comfort.
