We are very flexible We are very flexible here at O2 as we know that people need flexibility in their lives. We don't stick to rigid shift patterns at all. Your hours and days will vary dependent on which store you will be working in, however with most part-time roles you would be required to work Saturdays. You may have to work some Sundays. But if you do, you’ll get an extra £50 bonus for every Sunday you work. Not bad, eh?
In the first instance, we're looking for people who can welcome customers into our stores, build a rapport and create a good customer experience. Of course, customers will expect you to be able to explain our products. But they aren't always interested in technical jargon. What they really want are people who can explain in simple terms why a certain service or feature will suit their lifestyle.
You will have the full support of your team and manager to help you through any sticky situations.
Unfortunately, targets are a fact of life in Sales so you need real ambition and enthusiasm. However, don't imagine that you're just given a figure and sent out onto the shop floor. We'll give you a great induction, plenty of training and the team will always support you. More than anything, we try and make it fun rather than pressurised.
IIf it's a one off, don't worry. If it starts to happen regularly, our first question will be, why? It could be that you need to refine your sales technique, get in front of customers more or sharpen your product knowledge. If you're working hard and doing your best, we'll make sure you've got the encouragement and support you need to fulfil your potential and get the rewards you deserve.
