We’ve got loads of different roles within Retail. Find out more about them here.
Looking after about 10 stores, working out how each one runs, and doing everything you can to make each one even better. Getting that o2 feel. Inspiring your team of Branch Managers. And encouraging every person to be the best at what they do.
Keeping up to speed with all the latest gadgets and gizmos can be a bit of a headache for many people. Not people like you, obviously. You love nothing more than playing around with a new bit of kit.
But, for lots of our customers, there’s nothing more frustrating than getting all excited about purchasing a new handset, XDA or broadband service, only to find, once they get it home (or set up), that they don’t know what to do with it (or what it can do).
You may already be in retail, or alternatively, you could come from a customer service background. Either way, you’ll be a team-focused, ‘can-do’ and persuasive type who knows how to build a rapport with anybody and everybody.
You’ll also be highly professional, eager to develop and quick to seize on a sales opportunity - and will relish the scope to earn the rewards that give everyone working at O2 the feel-good factor.
Previous experience at Assistant Manager level certainly helps make the difference in this role. It means you’ll have the motivation and organisational skills needed to develop your team, concentrating as much on their development as your own.
Always looking for more responsibility in order to truly fulfil your potential, you’ll support the Branch Manager and make an invaluable contribution to your store covering everything from stock, margin and cost control to visual merchandising and customer service.
Our Branch Managers do more than simply take an operational overview. They are true role models for the rest of the team, providing them with the inspiration, motivation and coaching they need in order to meet our high standards. Ensuring that our training is up-to-the-minute, you’ll also manage our stock control, budgets and visual merchandising so that your Retail Advisors have the resources they need to do their jobs to the best of their abilities.
It’s all about maximising sales, customer loyalty and your team’s potential - so you’ve got to have loads of energy, an open and inclusive management style and an exacting eye for detail.
