Service Development

Who makes sure customers and employees are happy? And who makes sure we meet all the rules and regulations we’re supposed to? This department does all that and more. Service Development handles everything from customer and employee satisfaction, to business growth, ethical standards and regulatory compliance. It’s actually made up of three separate areas:

• Marketing Interface
• Operational Change Management (OCM)
• Audit and Compliance (including Business Excellence)

Marketing Interface is where our promotional campaigns are born. Our people check the idea is feasible, arrange a launch date and follow the campaign through to completion. Then, when it’s over, they gauge its success and any lessons that have been learned.

Whenever we need improvements to the business it’s Operational Change Management that gets involved. The team is made up of skilled Project Managers that assist with the delivery and implementation of required projects. The area works in a similar way to Marketing Interface, checking feasibility, putting ideas into action and assessing the results.

At O2 we double-check everything, from financial controls to policies and processes. It’s our Audit & Compliance who are responsible for ensuring the business is meeting all its legal requirements and provides a framework for ensuring the business is constantly improving how it works.
