Marketing has a very high profile within O2. It’s where we carry out customer insight and research, develop propositions, develop new products, manage current products and take care of marcomms, customer relationship management and our brand. Nothing surprising there.
But at O2, Marketing also has overall Profit & Loss responsibility for our PrePay, Consumer Postpay, Broadband business and SME markets. That means our 230 strong team (who are based mostly in Slough) are kept very busy. Many of them are graduates of our very own Marketing Academy; set up to give our people the skills and development opportunities they want.
In a fast-moving market like ours, it’s vital that we put the customer at the heart of everything we do. In Marketing, we try to understand our customers better than anyone else and give them what they want. We pride ourselves on being bold, challenging the norms, doing things differently and innovating on behalf of our customers. One thing’s for sure: it’s never boring.
The majority of the roles are based in our Slough Head Office, with some based in Leeds.
