Sales

At O2, Sales is split into two directorates: Consumer and Business. Our Business directorate employs about 700 people and focuses on selling our products and services to SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises) and Corporate organisations via Direct, Partner, online and CRM channels. Meanwhile, the 3,750 people in our Consumer directorate (3,600 of them in retail), take our products and services to market via retail, online sales and indirect sales (through a third party).

No matter where you work in sales, you’ll be operating in a special environment where we live and breathe certain values: Bold, Open, Trusted and Clear. These all contribute to a winning mentality that helped us sweep the floor at the National Sales Awards.

Key roles:

• Consumer: there’s a huge variety of roles in this area, from retail professional (Shop Manager or Retail Adviser), to online specialist and account management.
• Business: here, the roles tend to focus on acquisition and account management. You can join in a desk or field-based position, as long as you have good sales management skills. There are also a number of sales support roles in Management, Strategy and Technical areas.
• Our market success is underpinned by a number of cross-directorate roles that develop and execute propositions to create demand. These include Channel Marketing, Events, Communications and Planning positions.
