The Process

The assessment process for our Graduate Recruitment Programme happens in four stages – an online application form, online psychometric tests, a telephone interview, and finally a two-day assessment centre.

Don’t panic! We just want to get a good overall picture of you and your skills, and how you match what we are looking for in a new recruit. And, to prove it, we’ve got a few tips on how to approach each stage.

Tips on…Your Online Application

Aside from the obvious questions about your academic achievements, work experience and general interests, the open-ended questions section of the application is designed for you to paint a broader picture of yourself.

The biggest tips are – be smart and use the prompts, be sharp and, above all, be honest. Don’t try to second guess what you think we want to hear!

Allowing time to prepare will help you make the best use of the 250 word limit, and make sure you’re actually getting across what you really want us to know about you. If you progress through this first stage of the process, you’ll get more information on the next three stages: online psychometric tests, a telephone interview and our two-day assessment centres.

At O2 we are positive about disability and we have been awarded the “two ticks” disability symbol. If you need assistance with completing the application form as a result of a disability then please email a member of the Recruitment Team (financegraduates@o2.com) who will contact you to discuss your requirements and also make reasonable adjustments where necessary.

Disability Discrimination Act 1995 describes disability as a physical or mental impairment which had a substantial and long term adverse effect on your ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.

The closing date for submitting your online application is Midnight Sunday 3rd January 2010.

You will receive regular communication from us throughout the application process.

Our Assessment Centre will be held on week commencing 22nd February 2010 and week commencing 22nd March 2010.

If you have any questions about the Programme or the recruitment process then drop an email to financegraduates@o2.com and a member of the Recruitment Team will get back to you.
