We depend on technology. For our mobile network. Our broadband. Our websites. The list goes on and on. Technology is what makes everything possible and brings great ideas to life.

The directorate covers an array of teams, from Information Systems Delivery, who tackle IS projects, to Service Operations, who provide 2nd line technical support. In between, you’ll find Radio Engineering Delivery, looking after our network and Technology Strategy & Governance, deciding our future direction.

Of course this only the start. Technology impacts on every area of O2, so there are countless other teams, connecting people to our network, handling service usage and helping our techies develop their skills. One of the most interesting new areas is Managed Services – a team that gives business customers access to a joined-up communications: fixed line, mobile, IP networks and more. 

Despite their diverse field, these teams have one thing in common: a love of innovation and excellence.  

Skills for the future

Given the huge area that our Technology directorate covers, O2 needs all sorts of experts. IT whizzkids who can solve technical queries over the phone. Engineers, who can make our network run like clockwork. Information Architects, who can build solid internal systems. There are countless different roles you can play.
