O2 Health

 

O2 Health is a brand new business. Launched in July 2010 as part of Telefónica UK, its goal is to find better ways to deliver healthcare. Right now, that’s more important than ever.

Over the last decade, the annual budget for the NHS has more than doubled. But frontline NHS investment will increase at a slower rate over the next two years. As demand for healthcare continues to grow, an ageing population, new technology and increasing patient expectations will all place greater pressure on budgets. Today, £1 of every £13 (7.7% GDP) produced by the UK economy is spent on healthcare. 

As the healthcare sector faces up to this challenge, O2 Health is helping NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations deliver better care, more efficiently. 

We’re doing this by focusing on the needs of patients and the NHS teams that care for them. Using technology to make a positive impact on the way care is given.

Our solutions are wide-ranging. Digital pens. Collaborative working tools. Mobile alarm-based systems for patients – innovations that are tailor-made for the healthcare sector.

Our team is nearly 40-strong and works across sales, sales management and marketing to provide an end-to-end service for our customers. In some ways we’re much like a start-up – but with the support of a powerful parent company. We continue to work with Telefónica to develop new and original solutions in our market place.
