Our work ranges from developing new and improved products and services to formulating strategy. Not forgetting the finer details like managing sales channels and how we speak to our customers. We’re a large team, made up of several core areas.

The Trading teams look after our Pay Monthly and Pay & Go customers. They’re responsible for delivering the plans that are going to turn our customers into fans. They own the relationship with other key areas of O2 such as Retail, Technology and Customer Service, making sure that we deliver a great experience across the business.

The Product team are what we call “functional experts”. They understand every single detail of the vast array of products and services that our customers can enjoy, from basic mobile functions (e.g. voice and text) to the more complex (e.g. international roaming). The Product team are also responsible for new and cutting edge technology.

The Customer Experience team ensure that everything we do delivers a phenomenal “Customer Experience’”. Essentially they manage the plans that aim to improve the customer experience across all touch-points and increase O2’s Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

To make sure that we keep abreast of what our customers want, we also have a Customer Segment team. They act as “the voice of the customer”. This entails fully understanding what our customers want in the present and anticipating future needs and trends.

And finally we have a Strategy and Planning team, they ensure that the greater team ties up with the other parts of the business and ensure a consistent and planned approach. After all, we don’t want to confuse our customers with mixed messages.
