If our people are happy, our customers are happy. Not difficult is it?
But creating and driving a people agenda that delivers a consistent, exceptional employee experience and measurable business success is no walk in the park. It means an HR function that delivers a visible and strategic impact on the business.
A team that is a trusted expert on both our business and our specialty and who can partner with the business to challenge with authority.

In HR we drive the people strategy across our business. We want to capture the hearts and minds of our people, so they feel motivated.
That’s why we’ve made a commitment to our employees in the shape of our People Promise. It pledges to make O2 a place where it feels great to work and where we can perform at our best.
It’s an exciting time to join us too. We’re creating a HR model that works across Europe. And building on the great work being done in each country, so we can do more things, better. Our strategic HR business partners are all supported by our highly specialist centres of excellence, they include everything from Talent and Resourcing to Organisational Effectiveness and Development.
Working together as one team means we can share the same strategy, doing things consistently and improving the experience of all our people. As well as adding real value to our business. Our team works across the UK. With sites in Leeds, Bury, Preston Brook, Glasgow and at our Head Office in Slough.
We have clear career paths for you to follow in HR. Not just relating to your past experience, but making the most of your talents and giving you the chance to build new skills.
Big things are happening at O2. New products, new services and new ideas. With all these changes, it vital that our team is up to speed. You’ll make sure that the 4,000-strong team in our Consumer and Connected World operation has the chance to learn and enhance their skills. Acting as an internal consultant, you’ll manage all learning and development for our Consumer and Connected World operation.
Essentially, we’ll look to you to deliver high quality, innovative learning and development solutions through a consultancy led approach.
You’ll be responsible for a full learning cycle – including Training Needs Analysis, design, delivery and evaluation. Not least, it will be your role to develop and monitor the performance of other less senior L&D Consultants and training specialists.
