Centres of Excellence

Our Centre of Excellence teams work collaboratively across Telefónica Europe. We provide expert advice on the best and most relevant HR business solutions and services, creating consistency in our framework and operating model for the business. We share best practice knowledge across the European HR team to ensure consistent employee experience. Our teams are accountable for providing support to each operating business in:-

  • Reward and Recognition
  • Talent Management
  • Executive Development

What do our Centres of Excellence do?

Within Employee Experience, it's our aim to continually improve the way it feels to work here. Key to this is building the Telefónica employer brand.

Within Executive Development, we're tasked with actively developing our Telefónica executives to be great leaders of the future.

In Organisation Effectiveness, we support key business change agendas – building business capabilities for line managers, creating organisational policy and best practices.

The Resourcing team has ownership of all European recruitment and includes in-house teams as well as partner relationships along with our attraction strategy.

Within Talent Management, we look after European succession management, creating a Key Talent Pipeline to ensure relevant skills are coming into our business in the future.

The Learning and Development team takes care of our European L&D strategy, activity and implementation. It’s also our role to share and embed best practice across all Operating Businesses.

Reward and Recognition takes organisational accountability of the rewards and benefits available to our people, as well as being the experts in job evaluation and grade management.
