An environment that’s grown up really fast and quickly established our reputation for providing world-class customer service, the success of Glasgow Skypark is partly down to our fantastic O2 training - but mainly it’s down to the enthusiasm and talents of the people who work here.
Because we are such a big contact centre we recruit for lots of different types of people. We deal with all sorts of queries from O2 customers and we have teams that focus on particular products or services. The training here is fantastic so there are lots of opportunities to develop your skills and fulfil your potential.
For some of the roles, especially in our Broadband teams, you need experience and specific skills. However, we also have lots of opportunities for people who simply have good communication skills and lots of personality. Of course, with so many different roles, once you start learning there are lots of opportunities to move up too.
Being a big contact centre doesn't mean we overlook the little things. Everyone has their own desk with a PC and a phone. We've got a coffee shop, an internet cafe with xbox pods, break out areas, pool tables, table football and a fully subsidised restaurant. We've also got fantastic training suites and a study area so you can develop professionally.
More than anything else, we think Skypark is special because we have a good time. There are always social events happening and, because this is O2, lots of competitions to win tickets to concerts. It all helps to keep life interesting!
