My story…….
At the age of 34 and having spent the last 18 years as a professional hairdresser, my life was turned upside down and I was faced with life as a single parent to my 4yr old son and zero confidence… I needed a complete fresh start.I clearly remember my 1st day at o2, I was petrified! I had never been near a PC, not even knowing how to turn it on! I started in Consumer Customer Service and after 6 months joined Business Customer Service. Within in 12 months I was a permanent fixture in the Grad Bay Area supporting new inductees into the business. My turning point was when I was picked to be part of the ASK Team. This was a huge confidence boost for me and I really started to believe in myself and things were looking up!
6 years on, I am now a Development Leader, loving my job and feeling very proud of how far I have come and very fortunate for the opportunities o2 has offered me. Although my little man has never affected my work I know I have full support from o2 if I ever need it. I have some great work colleagues but more importantly I have also made some very special friends along the way.
