Why have I stayed with O2?
I have been with the company for 17 years and I have always worked in the retail sector and started out as a part time retail consultant and worked my way up the career ladder. In this time I have seen changes from firstly being owned by BT, then going through exciting changes when we became O2 which is not that long ago. I have seen the launching of great products and services, particullay the iPhone. As a brand and employee I have seen us go from strength to strenght..We are now part of the Telefónica group which again opens opportunities for us globally.
So why have I stayed with O2? firstly it truly is a great company to work for, with great benefits for its employees. As employees we are supported and looked after, our senior managers care about us. We have opportunities to progress with our careers within the company and are encouraged and supported in this. We are also a company that likes to have fun, along with the hard work.
Looking back it has been a great 17 years and I know there will be more great years ahead.
